Hunter and Barrel is located in the heart of Cockle Bay. The newly refurbished restaurant takes a seat next door to Cafè Del Mar overlooking one of Sydney’s most picturesque harbours.

Hunter and Barrel takes its theme from the traditional ways of the hunter, combining ancient traditions and elements within a luxury eatery.

The smell of fire and smoke gently fill the venue, they even have smoked cocktails that compliment every course.

Despite leaning towards meat boards, braised soups and slow-cooked meats, Hunter and Barrel also offers a fantastic selection of vegetarian dishes as well which kept Pia happy. The roasted vegetables are simply incredible.

My recommendation: The Corn on the cob with Miso butter…. Ah-maze-ing!
