As many of you know, Kane and I have recently come back from a month long summer adventure in Europe. One of the things I was most excited about was to getaway from the gloomy winter at home and break out all of the floral, colourful and fun clothing that were stored away in my wardrobe. Here are some of the fashion trends and pieces that I have been loving during my Euro-summer holiday!

White Romantics

There is nothing that feels more like summer than getting out those flowy and romantic white pieces that have been hiding in your winter wardrobe. I’ve been loving fun, all-white pieces that are detailed with frills, lace and full skirts. They make the perfect blank canvas to get your accessorising on, so you can get creative with statement hats, jewellery and kick ass heels. I am currently in love with these beautiful pieces from Shona JoyIXIAH and Alice McCALL.

A Pop of Colour

If you’ve been following Finding the Finer for a while now, you’ve probably noticed that I usually stick to a sleek monochrome style. However, I was inspired to venture into more vivid colour palettes while travelling through the vibrant cities in Europe – from the romantic ambiance of Positano and fields of flowers in Sweden, to the waves of colour decorating Capri’s coastline. On this trip, I embraced all things floral, lace and frills. Check out the gorgeous pieces are from Bali Boat Shed, Alice McCALLIXIAH and Keepsake the label.

The LBB (Little Black Bikini)

If there is one essential piece of clothing to pack for a European summer, it is a little black bikini. These became such a staple during my travels since they can not only be worn at the beach, but also while exploring the streets of coastal cities. Simply pair it with a cute pair of shorts, or throw on a loose dress or shirt over the top for a cute understated summer look. My go-to LBBs are from my upcoming SLINKII Swim – stay tuned for the release!

Embroidery Details

This season is all about embroidered embellishments. I am so thrilled that this trend is here and have been fully embracing it during our European summer adventure. Embroidery is such a beautiful detail and creates a really delicate and romantic vibe to your outfit. It felt so perfect for Euro-summer as I walked through the gorgeous floral streets of Positano, and along the vibrant regions of Cannes and Capri. Some of my favourite pieces are from Alice McCALL, Sass & Bide and Showpo.
