After a little mishap with our flights and an impromptu Dubai stay, we finally landed in Sweden! Let me tell you it does not disappoint. We reached The Grand Hotel in Saltsjöbaden and it is no wonder that it is called the grand, I mean look at it!

Every room in this hotel is to die for. The breakfast hall is basically a ball room complete with high ceilings, gold detailing and, the most gorgeous chandeliers that you will ever see! The bedroom is equally as gorgeous. The dark wallpaper helps combat the fact that THE SUN NEVER SETS! Lucky the beds are so comfy that it doesn’t really matter (the jet lag may have helped as well).

When we aren’t fighting jet lag their spa is AMAZING! They have all your favourite massages and treatments, they even have couples treatments if you’re feeling something special.

Even though it’s still a little cold in Sweden this was the perfect way to start off our European summer adventure. I cannot wait for what is next.
